Big Sean is voicing his frustration about a blogger's theory about Jhené Aiko in the wake of speculation (now denied) about the couple's break-up.
The rapper responded to a post by blogger Shadaya Knight suggesting that the rapper didn’t want to marry Aiko (the reason for their rumored split) because she had cheated on her now ex-husband, producer Dot Da Genius, with Sean.
“On some real shit, I don’t like this energy,” wrote Sean. “I don’t mind whoever saying wild shit about me because I have a sense of humor and don’t give a fuck. It’s frustrating having people saying negative things towards her though. God bless.”
When The Shade Room posted Big Sean’s comment about the situation on Instagram, Aiko hopped in the comments to clear up speculation about her previous marriage.
“Let’s wrap this up! Me and Dot eloped in Vegas after a few months of dating while I was still grieving the death of my brother,” she wrote. “Dot did not abuse me and is not a bad guy. We had a short back and forth on Twitter that created rumors, but ultimately separated amicably due to the realization we were practically strangers who made an impulsive decision.”
Aiko continued, explaining that she and Sean got together after “years of an amazing friendship.”
Big Sean recently addressed rumors of their breakup when a fan confronted him on X about being seen with another woman.
Sean responded to a fan who wrote to him, "You broke up with the queen over a powdered donut, my n***a?" by denying it.
"No, it's pretty funny how the internet can give life to things with no confirmation," responded Sean. "I'm sending love to everyone tho."
Before that, Sean responded to the rumors he was with another woman after he was seen in a video with one.
"Yeah unfortunately I never met this person in my life lol," he wrote in the comments of a post on Instagram.
"This girl was standing next to @hitboy who is cut out the video," Sean added. "I dont know why the fuck she was so close to me though. I didnt see it at all til i saw this video and can understand the frustrations. Smh [crying laughing emoji] But i dont even know this person at all."
