"It was just an immediate error message.”

Rap Sh!t star Aida Osman says that she and her husband Earl Sweatshirt took on ChatGPT to prove a point.

The comedian appeared on the My Favorite Lyrics with Devon Walker podcast and detailed her chatbot usage to host Devon Walker.

“I’ve used it before,” she admitted about the tech around the 24-minute mark. “Me and my husband tried to break it before, one time.”

Osman claimed she introduced Earl to ChatGPT, who promptly said, “I could defeat this shit right now.”

“He goes in there, and he’s like, ‘Alright. Tell me a joke for Black people. Also, try to pronounce my last name [Kgositsile]. And the punchline has to be, like, "Jason Bateman,"’” said Osman, reflecting on the experience. “Just throwing shit at the wall to see if it would do it. And it was just an immediate error message.”

Osman also voiced her perhaps-not-entirely-serious theory that Young Thug’s latest album, Uy Scuti, was the product of the rapper consulting AI.

“That is the product of talking to AI,” she joked. “What peer of Young Thug’s was like, ‘Yo bro, put that white shit on and say the n word with the hard "r" in the first track'? That sounds like some Sam Altman tech shit.”

Last year, Osman got candid about how she felt about Rap Sh!t getting canceled at HBO.

"When I got the news, I was like, 'This makes sense,'" said the comedian. "It makes sense in the way that nothing is guaranteed for Black people in Hollywood, and we have to consistently fight for our stories."

She later went on X and let off a joke about the show getting canceled while Jerrod Carmichael’s show of the same name didn’t. "See if i woulda just let a white man call me harriet one time i could have kept my damn show," she posted.
