Max B is still familiarizing himself with the comforts of modernity after his release from prison, and it’s clear he’s more than pleased with two brands in particular: Apple and Hoka.

“I ain’t gon lie,” the Public Domain 7 artist wrote in an X post on Tuesday (Jan. 6). “The Alexa joint on the iPhone be wit the shits.”

Though it wasn’t entirely clear whether the Silver Surfer was referencing the Amazon Alexa app on iPhone, or iPhone’s native Siri tech, the widely held assumption appears to be that he was intending to praise the latter.

Either way, fans were quick to show support while also tucking in a few lighthearted jokes.

Max, who was released from prison in November of last year after serving a lengthy sentence, later directed his attention to Hoka, a sportswear brand mostly known for its widely acclaimed offerings in the running shoes space.

“I been in the loop,” he wrote on X. “I copped like 10 pairs of them hoka hiking joints they in the crib rn COZY Oww.”

Naturally, fans followed this one up with an assortment of additional running shoe recommendations.

ASAP Rocky, French Montana, Kehlani, and more all assembled for Max’s 25-song Public Domain 7 project in December. But before rolling out the latest entry in his beloved mixtape series, the Harlem-born rapper starred in a special Black Friday campaign for SP5DER Worldwide, plus made a surprise appearance at a Brandy and Monica show.
