First launched in 2020, VERZUZ, created by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, got a full-scale relaunch last October with its Apple Music and Complex partnership debut at ComplexCon in Las Vegas. For that event, Cash Money Records and No Limit Records took the stage, spurring industry-wide commentary that was still active as recently as this month.

Hit-Boy and Mike WiLL Made-It will face off at Apple Music Studios in Los Angeles on Friday (Jan. 30) at 8:00 p.m. ET. Fans can watch the full event live (and in high definition) via Apple Music. After the original stream, those who missed it, or simply want to experience it all again, can view the event on-demand, also via Apple Music.
Before the event kicks off, fans can get in on a little pregame action by tuning in for Complex x VERZUZ Companion Show with Complex’s Jordan Rose and Apple Music’s Ebro Darden. The show will go live 30 minutes before the event begins across VERZUZ and Complex platforms. After the event, fans can expect a 20-minute recap, also streaming live.
