Drake, fresh off dropping three new albums at once, steals the show in a new Nike spot featuring Kevin Durant.

“Normalize glazing the bros,” the Iceman artist said when sharing the commercial, which arrives ahead of KD’s next Nike drop.

In the video, seen below, Drake is asked to give his honest opinion on a couple of objectively improbable shoe designs, with his enthusiasm for each spurring KD to wonder if he’s a mere “yes man.”

“First thought? Transcending the game,” Drake, fully in his “yes man” bag, offers when KD shows him a design that awkwardly melds a cowboy boot with a basketball sneaker. “It’s like, you need a banjo for those. Those are crazy. … This guy went home, home on the range with it. Wow.”

Also presented as a joke by KD was an even more ludicrous design, prompting Drake to tuck in an abominable snowman reference.

“Those are hard,” he said. “This guy’s trying to dominate the Alaskan market.”

Finally, KD confronts Drake for the yes-mannery, then reveals the actual look of his latest Nike shoe.

Last year, Drake enlisted KD for an episode of his Iceman livestream series, later shouting him out on “Q&A,” a track off Maid of Honour, one of three new albums released by the 6 god this past Friday (May 15).

Given the sheer volume of new music, there’s been much to discuss in the days since the surprise triad, including whether other artists have taken similarly big swings in the past.

As it stands now, Drake, expectedly, is poised to command the top three chart positions on the next Billboard 200 update.
