Drake Says 'My Karma Is Straight' in Speech to Fans: 'I Didn't Get Here by Being a D*ckhead'

"That's why I'm still on stage in 2025," Drake told fans in Amsterdam.

Drake tucked in some thoughts on karma and longevity during a recent stop on his and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s $ome $pecial $hows 4 UK EU tour, telling fans he’s made it this far “by being good to people.”

In a fan-captured video seemingly stemming from the Iceman artist’s first of three shows in Amsterdam, he’s seen telling the audience to “never give up” on achieving what they want in life.

“I hope you get everything you want,” Drake said. “Never give up. Keep going, not even on some preachy shit. This might be the moment that you need to hear it. And the biggest thing I would say to you is I didn’t get here by being a piece of shit. I didn’t get here by being a snake. I didn’t get here by being a dickhead. I got here by being good to people, being nice to people, and my karma is straight.”

Drake continued, “That’s why I’m still on stage in 2025, trust me. And I appreciate you always supporting me, always being there for me. I love y’all. I don’t have no jokes tonight. I usually tell a joke or some shit but tonight it’s no jokes. It’s just love. I appreciate you so much. I’m working on this album for y’all, Iceman. We got a lot to talk about.”

The latest Iceman tease comes after similar remarks were made in Birmingham, not to mention in the wake of two new tracks from the OVO Sound co-founder, “What Did I Miss?” and “Which One.” The latter features Central Cee, who’s among those set to take the stage at ComplexCon in Las Vegas this October.

While we don't have a firm Iceman release date just yet, it’s widely assumed that it’ll be arriving before year’s end. See here for more on what’s known about the For All the Dogs follow-up so far.

ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
