Drake, who once nodded to country superstar George Strait by rapping “all my exes live in Texas,” joked about briefly being convinced that he was staring down a past romantic partner during a recent stop on his PARTYNEXTDOOR-featuring $ome $pecial $hows 4 UK EU run.

In a clip of the fan encounter making the rounds on social media this week, a woman can be seen stepping in front of Drake as he makes his way to the stage. The fan is quickly pulled to the side after the eye-to-eye moment, albeit not without some playful commentary from the Iceman artist.

“I thought we knew each other for a second, crazy,” Drake said as he continued walking. After a few seconds, he added in a bit more, like so: “I thought that was my ex.”

Drake last brought his and PND’s $ome $exy $ongs 4 U-promoting tour to Manchester’s Co-op Live arena, with one date in the city rescheduled to early next month. Still on the agenda are additional stops in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Stockholm, Paris, and more.

While $$$4U is indeed the focus of this particular run, Drake, as promised, has been playing “the hits, old and new” from across his catalog. Simultaneously, he’s continued to toss out teases of his upcoming Iceman project, not to mention two new tracks, the solo “What Did I Miss?” and the Central Cee-featuring “Which One.”

ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
