Just last month, Wallen brought out Drake as a surprise guest during a show in Houston.

Drake has given a shout-out to his "brother" Morgan Wallen for his continued success.

In a post shared on his Instagram Stories, he shared a video of Morgan Wallen from 2016 in which he spoke about his dream concert lineup. "Hopefully I'm the headliner, I would put Eric Church, Chris Cornell... I would probably put Drake there," he said in the clip. Alongside the video, Drake wrote, "My brother living his words of manifestation fr."

Despite making distinctively different music, Drizzy and Wallen have crossed paths in the past. Just last month, for instance, Wallen brought Drake out as a special guest during a show in Houston. While the rapper didn't perform during the show, he did participate in a walkout with Wallen, who has made a tradition of walking out with major stars, including Tom Brady, Troy Aikman, Travis Kelce, and Peyton Manning.

Before that, Wallen made an appearance in the music video for Drake's For All the Dogs single, "You Broke My Heart." The two artists attempt to flee their ex-girlfriends in the clip, with Grace Matthews and Taylor Morris playing the scorned lovers. While they appear to be good friends, Wallen still hasn't gotten on a track with Drizzy. They do have a mutual collaborator in Lil Durk, though.

Drake has been paying tribute to a lot of his fellow musicians recently. On Wednesday (July 30), he shared an appreciation post for Sexyy Red that was soundtracked by the artist formerly known as Kanye West's "Real Friends." He also provided a big spotlight for UK talent during his three days performing at Wireless Festival in London, and boldly proclaimed that "no one can out-rap London."

ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
