Megan Thee Stallion has officially turned her viral Popeyes partnership into a brick-and-mortar reality.
The "Savage" rapper opened her Miami-based Popeyes location on Thursday (Jan. 15) with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting. The staff wore 'Hottie-certified' uniforms for the occasion, while the restaurant was decked in fun LED lights, stallion artwork, and a custom interior design that was created in collaboration with Meg.
Popeyes locations nationwide will soon roll out the "The Megan Meal," a combo that includes a chicken sandwich, three-piece tenders, and six-piece bone-in wings plus sides of red beans and rice and mac and cheese.
On New Year’s Eve, the Grammy-winning rapper celebrated the grand opening of her first-ever Popeyes franchise in Miami, planting her flag in the heart of South Beach and stepping fully into restaurant ownership.
The opening marks a major milestone in Megan’s ongoing relationship with the brand, which first captured pop culture’s attention in 2021 with the launch of her Hottie Sauce.
What began as a limited-edition collaboration, complete with internet-breaking fan reactions and a playful mukbang video from the rapper herself, has now evolved into a tangible business investment.
Megan first hinted at the move earlier this year, teasing the Miami location in an April 2025 TikTok. In the clip, she joked about balancing her roles as both artist and entrepreneur, signaling that the franchise wasn’t just a celebrity endorsement but a serious business play.
Unlike many star-backed ventures, Megan made it clear she wanted to be hands-on from day one. During the grand opening, the Houston native took time to personally meet every employee, insisting on learning each staff member’s name she didn't have to.
“Oh, yes, I do,” she replied in a moment that quickly resonated with fans online, showcasing the leadership style she’s bringing into her new role.
The celebration also saw Megan greeting fans, hyping up her team, and even stepping behind the counter to help serve customers. At one point, she joked with her staff about popping in regularly to see how things were running.
She later shared highlights from the day on Instagram, proudly announcing her new status as a franchise owner and dubbing the location “Thee Littest Popeyes.”
