Meek Mill is giving Young Thug his flowers, and doing it in front of his hometown crowd.

During Thugger’s show in Philadelphia this past week, Meek took a moment onstage to share how much Thug supported him during one of the most turbulent stretches of his career: his highly publicized beef with Drake.

According to Meek, the industry largely distanced itself from him at the time, with artists hesitant to collaborate or stand publicly beside him. But Young Thug wasn’t one of them.

“I tell this n***a every time I see him, when I was beefing with Drake, n***as was acting like they were scared to do a verse with me,” Meek told the crowd. He then revealed just how far Thug went to show loyalty.

“This n***a pulled up to my house while I’m on house arrest two days straight,” Meek said. “[Thug] got with me, pulled my confidence right back up, locked right in. So Philly, make some fucking noise for Young Thug in this bitch.”

The moment drew loud cheers, capturing a rare glimpse of vulnerability from Meek as he publicly acknowledged how isolating that period was, and how Thug’s support helped him push through it. Meek’s praise also comes at a time when Young Thug is still battling the aftermath of the YSL RICO case, making the salute even more meaningful for fans who have watched the rapper’s legal struggles unfold.

The shoutout continues a longstanding respect between the two artists, both of whom have collaborated and shown support for each other throughout their careers.

They teamed up on We Ball” from Meek’s Wins & Losses album, one of the most emotional songs in Meek’s catalog. Thug also appeared on “Offended” from Meek’s DC4, and the pair joined forces again on “That Go!” alongside T-Shyne. Their chemistry has long been recognized by fans, blending Meek’s raw intensity with Thug’s melodic unpredictability.
