Meek Mill has announced his wish to bring violence to people who “terrorize our neighborhoods.”The rapper hopped on X to reveal his speculative plan. “I wanna hunt and war against people that terrorize our neighborhoods…but never as a cop!” he wrote. “Like a black out squad when we come, it’s about kids women or innocent people being killed by out of control street n****s once the community say it that’s your court date!”
Mill reposted Grok’s explanation for his post after a fan asked about what he meant. “Meek Mill is expressing a desire to combat violence in neighborhoods by targeting those who harm innocents like kids and women, but not as police,” reads the post. “He envisions a community-led ‘black out squad’ where the community’s judgement serves as the ‘court date’ for these offenders, emphasizing street justice over formal law.”
After the posts, Mill expressed why he was feeling so passionate about this new plan. “I’m in Dubai seeing them kids get killed at that party bothers em to the same level that war and bombs bother yall!” he wrote. “I know the life and I know for %1000 that is never the way!”
When Mill has a plan, he puts it into action — as evident by the work he’s done with the REFORM Alliance he founded with Jay-Z and Michael Rubin. Last December, the organization passed a historic global resolution with the United Nations to protect the rights of people leaving prison who are either on parole or probation.
REFORM partnered with Costa Rica and a coalition of 120 different organizations from 49 different countries to adopt the UN resolution that clarifies the human rights of the people who return to society after being incarcerated. This resolution has concrete steps for different governments to make safer, more inclusive communities that focus on inclusion.
