Jungkook has reached a major solo career milestone.
The BTS star’s music video for “Seven” featuring Latto has officially crossed 600 million views on YouTube, marking the first time one of his solo releases has hit that mark.
The achievement comes nearly three years after the video first dropped in July 2023, steadily building momentum as fans continued to stream the track long after its debut. The song served as Jungkook’s breakout solo single and played a key role in establishing his presence outside of BTS.
“Seven” has remained one of his most recognizable solo efforts, blending pop and R&B influences with a global appeal that helped it resonate across multiple markets. The track’s performance on streaming platforms and charts was strong from the start, and its longevity on YouTube reflects that sustained interest. It also helps that BTS has had an incredible comeback after a brief hiatus to complete their mandatory military service.
Among Jungkook’s solo catalog, the video now stands alone at the top in terms of views, with none of his other individual releases coming close to the same milestone so far.
The moment adds to a growing list of achievements for the singer as he continues to build his identity as a solo artist while still being a core member of BTS.
The milestone also arrives during a major moment for BTS as a whole. The group recently returned to the top of the Billboard 200 with ARIRANG, which debuted at No. 1 and became their seventh chart-topping album.
The project opened with 641,000 equivalent album units in its first week, driven largely by strong traditional sales across multiple physical and digital formats. Streaming also played a key role, with the album generating close to 100 million on-demand streams during its debut week.
With both individual and group success continuing to stack up, Jungkook’s latest achievement adds another layer to BTS’s ongoing dominance on a global scale.
