Joe Budden escalated the ongoing tension between streamer Adin Ross and rapper Doechii with blunt, controversial remarks during a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast.

While discussing Doechii’s song “Girl, Get Up,” Budden said he believed there were several lines aimed directly at Ross and referenced comments previously made by Glasses Malone. Budden did not mince words.

“I do want to say I’m rooting for Glasses Malone to get all the Crips together to beat up [Adin Ross],” Budden said on the show. “I am. Sorry. ’Cause I think that’s who she was talking to on the song.”

Co-host Ice agreed with Budden’s interpretation, saying, “Yeah. I didn’t know at first,” before adding that Ross’ behavior helped clarify the situation. Budden continued, criticizing Ross’ commentary about Doechii.

“He was talking a little fuckety, little fuckety fuck,” Budden said.

Ice echoed the sentiment: “The more I looked into it she was directly talking to him. Because he said some wild shit.”

“Yeah, he said a bunch of bullshit,” Budden replied, later adding, “It’s disgusting.”

Budden also voiced support for Glasses Malone, who recently entered the conversation to confront Ross over his repeated attacks on Doechii. “I like Glasses Malone, saying what he said,” Budden said. “And hopefully he meant it.”

The podcast discussion follows weeks of escalating online conflict between Ross and Doechii. After Doechii addressed accusations of being an “industry plant” on “Girl, Get Up” featuring SZA, Ross perceived the lyrics as a diss and went on a tirade during a Kick livestream, hurling a series of personal and misogynistic insults at the Grammy-winning rapper.

Glasses Malone soon responded publicly, saying Ross had crossed a line with his comments.

“I don’t give a fuck if you think that shit dissing you,” Malone said in a video. “You not finna just be sitting up there talking shit that Black woman. On God, bro.” He went on to warn that if Ross continued, he would begin “pressing” the people around him, emphasizing that Ross’ words carried real-world consequences.

Ross later addressed Malone on stream, dismissing him as a “fat simp” and claiming he would contact police if Malone ever tried to approach him. Malone fired back shortly after, accusing Ross of seeking protection behind the scenes and standing firm on his stance. “What in the fuck make you think if I’m saying this on this fucking camera… I’m not running,” Malone said. “I’ll be right there when they show up.”

The situation has continued to spiral, with Ross later recording a diss track alongside fellow streamers that took aim at several figures, including Budden and Doechii. Doechii has not directly responded to Ross by name, though she recently shared a message on Instagram addressing her critics more broadly.
