Latto has addressed a resurfaced clip in which she joked about sleeping with Fivio Foreign, clarifying the context as his ongoing back-and-forth with 21 Savage continues to play out publicly.
The Atlanta rapper responded after the old video began circulating online amid the escalating tension between the two artists, making it clear she wasn't being serious when she made the comment and that it did not reflect any current (or past) situation.
"Spoiler alert: it was strictly to go viral h never fucked..," she wrote in an Instagram story post. "Top 5 freshman freestyles 6yrs later tho clock it."
Fivio took a moment to share a screenshot from the freestyle, putting a blue heart emoji over it.
The clip in question comes from the 2020 XXL Freshman freestyle cypher, where Latto delivered a playful bar that immediately drew attention — especially because Fivio was standing right next to her when she said it.
"I ain't even fuck a rap n***a yet but if Fivio want to then I ain't gonna pass on it," she rapped with Fivio dishing out ad-libs.
In the moment, cameras captured Fivio glancing right at Latto as she dropped the line, making it one of the more memorable moments of the cypher. Now, years later, the footage has found new life online after Fivio shared a screenshot of the freestyle on social media, seemingly amplifying the moment amid his growing public friction with 21 Savage.
While Fivio hasn't directly explained why he reposted it, fans quickly read it as a not-so-subtle jab, especially given ongoing speculation that 21 Savage and Latto may be romantically involved.
Fivio and 21 Savage's issues have been bubbling for weeks now, sparked by Fivio taking issue with Savage's "fuck the streets" messaging, a stance 21 has doubled down on while encouraging artists to leave certain mindsets behind.
Fivio openly questioned why Savage is viewed as a street rapper at all, telling DJ Akademiks: "What's making you think that Savage is a street n***a? He said fuck the streets… Why you think 21 Savage is a street n***a, bruh?"
He later escalated the situation on Instagram Stories, writing: "I said what I said. No back & forth w a n***a who said f the streets. N***a a bitch eat a dick pussy @21savage."
21 responded during an Instagram Live, warning Fivio to stop mentioning him and portraying the criticism as bitterness toward someone trying to evolve.
"Fivio Foreign, shut your bitch ass up… Stop saying my motherfucking name," Savage said, later adding, "Everybody tough now."
That "tough" talk has only intensified this week after Savage posted his own controversial Instagram Story that read: "ALL the rappers who beat up women think they tough now 😂."
Savage didn't name names, but the post immediately sent social media into detective mode, especially given Fivio's past legal trouble. In 2025, Fivio was charged with possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon, certain persons not to have weapons, aggravated assault, and terroristic threats tied to an incident involving a woman and a dispute over a parking spot.
He later entered a guilty plea to one count of terroristic threats, while other charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon and aggravated assault, were dropped as part of the agreement.
