21 Savage Says 'Rappers Who Beat Up Women Think They Tough Now' Amid Fivio Foreign Beef

Savage didn’t name anyone, but the post follows recent back-and-forth after Fivio criticized his “fuck the streets” comments.

21 Savage is back stirring the pot, this time with a blunt message about abuse that has fans trying to figure out exactly who he’s aiming at.

On Tuesday, the Atlanta rapper shared an Instagram Story post that read: “ALL the rappers who beat up women think they tough now 😂”. The post, shared without any additional context, didn’t name anyone directly, leaving social media to speculate about who Savage was calling out.

While it’s unclear who the statement was meant for, the timing is notable given Fivio Foreign’s recent shots at 21 Savage following the “f**k the streets” commentary Savage made months ago, a stance that’s triggered pushback from multiple artists who still claim deep ties to street culture.

Fivio recently doubled down on his criticism of Savage’s messaging and questioned why anyone views him as a “street” rapper in the first place.

During a conversation with DJ Akademiks, Fivio asked, “What’s making you think that Savage is a street n***a? He said fuck the streets… Why you think 21 Savage is a street n***a, bruh?”

And he didn’t stop there. Fivio later went off on Instagram Stories, writing:

“I said what I said. No back & forth w a n***a who said f the streets. N***a a bitch eat a dick pussy @21savage.”

Savage responded publicly too, snapping during an Instagram Live and warning Fivio to stop mentioning him.

“Fivio Foreign, shut your bitch ass up,” Savage said. “Stop saying my motherfucking name.”

Savage also framed the situation as him trying to grow and send a more positive message, while others are still clinging to outdated ideas of what being “real” looks like.

“Don’t think ‘cause a n***a trying to change…” he said before adding, “Everybody tough now.”

That line now feels connected to his latest Story post, which suggests Savage may be criticizing a certain kind of “tough guy” posturing, especially from artists with violent allegations in their past.

And while Savage didn’t mention Fivio by name, it’s important to note that Fivio faced serious charges in 2025 stemming from an incident involving a woman and a dispute over a parking spot. According to reports tied to the case, he was charged with possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon, certain persons not to have weapons, aggravated assault, and terroristic threats.

He later entered a guilty plea to one count of terroristic threats, and in exchange, several other charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon and aggravated assault, were dropped.
