Timothée Chalamet’s unexpected guest appearance on EsDeeKid’s “4 RAWS Remix” is one of the internet’s favorite moments right now, and some of hip-hop’s biggest names are clearly enjoying it just as much as fans.

After the remix clip surfaced online, reactions poured in across social media. Drake dropped a series of ice cube emojis under the post, a nod many interpreted as approval, while Russ commented, “Lmao nah this is legendary.”

Yeat added to the chaos with laughing emojis and the phrase “4 martys,” playing into the surreal crossover moment with the actor's upcoming film Marty Supreme.

The remix appears to finally address months of speculation connecting EsDeeKid and Chalamet, after fans jokingly, and sometimes seriously, suggested the rapper and actor might be the same person.

The rumors began circulating over the summer, fueled by side-by-side comparisons, similar fashion choices, and shared appearances in overlapping creative circles.

Those theories reached a peak when Chalamet and EsDeeKid teased the “4 RAWS Remix” on Instagram, sharing snippets and footage that showed them standing together in a music video. The visual alone seemed designed to poke fun at the speculation, confirming that the two are, in fact, separate people, while still leaning into the joke.

Chalamet has been coy about the rumors for months. During a BBC Radio 1 interview, he was directly asked about his connection to EsDeeKid and responded with a smirk and a simple, “No comment,” adding that “all will be revealed in due time.”

The remix now appears to be that reveal, blending humor, music, and viral myth-making into one moment.

The confusion wasn’t entirely random. Fans pointed to their similar facial features, especially their eyes, as well as matching fashion moments, including an Alexander McQueen skull scarf worn by both at different events.

The “4 RAWS Remix” doubles as cross-promotion for Chalamet’s upcoming film Marty Supreme, directed by Josh Safdie and set to hit theaters on Thursday (Dec. 25).
