Drake is showing support for Lil Durk in a personal way.

TheFamily Matters” artist on Wednesday (Feb. 25) shared a photo of his son, Adonis, wearing a meaningful piece of jewelry tied to the rappers’ long friendship.

The image, posted to Drake's Instagram Story, shows 8-year-old Adonis wearing two standout chains: One represents Drake's OVO Sound brand, and the other is a rare diamond chain that merges the logos of OVO and Durk's Only The Family (OTF) collective.

Durk originally gave Drake the one-of-one chain in 2020 following the success of their collaboration "Laugh Now Cry Later," which marked a major milestone in Durk's career at the time.

The piece fuses the OVO lettering with OTF branding, representing the rappers’ alliance and mutual respect.

Drake previously showed off the chain shortly after receiving it, calling attention to the rarity of the gift and crediting Durk. Now, years later, fans are interpreting the photo of Adonis wearing it as a quiet show of loyalty.

OVO, short for October's Very Own, is Drake's label and lifestyle brand, founded in 2012 and symbolized by its signature owl logo. The crew includes artists like PartyNextDoor and Majid Jordan and has become one of the most recognizable brands in hip-hop.

OTF, meanwhile, is Lil Durk's Chicago-based rap collective, which he built alongside close collaborators and artists, including the late King Von. The group has been central to Durk's rise and remains a core part of his music identity.

Drake's posting of the image comes shortly after Durk appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom for a key hearing in his federal murder-for-hire case.

During the proceedings, attorneys debated whether Durk should be tried alongside several co-defendants or separately, a decision that could impact when his trial begins. If the cases remain together, the trial would likely be pushed to late August. If separated, Durk's case could move forward sooner.

Durk has remained in custody since his arrest in October 2024.
