ASAP Rocky is reflecting on one of the most talked-about and controversial stories he's ever shared, admitting he wishes he never brought it up in the first place.

During a recent interview with Akademiks, the Harlem rapper looked back on the viral moment when he described a jail fight from his teenage years in graphic detail.

"That shit be blowing mine. I wish I never said that shit," said Rocky before explaining how the moment was "dumb funny" and pointing out Ferg's shocked reaction when he first heard it. "It must have been [his first time hearing the story]. That n***a was like 'Nah.' I said 'Pause.' That was the wildest shit I ever said. Can't take that back [...] That's 'pause,' that's crazy."

The story Rocky now regrets sharing dates back to when he was just 16 years old and briefly spent time at Rikers Island. During a past interview, the rapper recalled getting into a physical altercation with another inmate inside a bathroom.

"I had to fight the n***a in the bathroom, no homo, we slippin' on semen," Rocky had said at the time, a line that instantly went viral.

While many fans found the blunt honesty humorous, years later, Rocky says it's a moment he can't escape, and one he wishes he could take back.

Rocky's interview with Akademiks covered a range of topics, from his career and personal growth to past controversies, but the resurfacing of the "slipping on semen" story once again reminded fans of how one offhand comment can follow an artist for years.

"I can't take that back," he said, a lesson in how stories can live forever.
