Kevin Federline has shared that he's unbothered by Sam Asghari referring to him as a "professional father."
TMZ recently caught up with Federline to get his thoughts on the apparent dig from Britney Spears' last husband. "I'm not too worried about what Sam thinks," K-Fed said. "But I do love the tagline 'professional father.'"
"Every father should strive to be a 'professional father,'" he added with a laugh.
When asked about Spears saying her marriage to Asghari was a "fake distraction" in an Instagram post, Federline declined to comment, claiming he was oblivious to the singer's statement.
The simmering feud between Britney's ex-husbands started when TMZ questioned Asghari about Federline's upcoming memoir You Thought You Knew, which is rumored to detail several aspects of his life, including his marriage to the singer.
"Well, he was a 'professional father,' so it would be the first book that will tell you how to be a 'professional father,'" Asghari responded, smiling.
According to TMZ, Federline has had full legal and physical custody of their two children since 2008.
Federline said he's "excited" about releasing You Thought You Knew, which gets released on October 21. "I can't really say too much about anything other than that, but I am very excited," he shared.
According to a press release, the book will be a "deeply personal and emotionally grounded" read, and will detail moments of K-Fed's career. Readers can expect to learn more about Federline’s time dancing with Destiny’s Child and Michael Jackson, his marriage to Spears, and the fallout that came from their split.
