Yung Miami wants Drake to pop some tags on the remix to “Spend Dat.”
The rapper, who famously collaborated with Drizzy alongside ex-City Girls member JT on 2018 single “In My Feelings,” called on the Iceman artist to hop on the “Spend Dat” remix over the weekend. Yung Miami spoke to Complex’s Jillian Superstar about the hopeful collaboration at the BET Awards 2026 on Sunday (June 28).
“You gotta stay tuned for that, but I really want Drake,” Yung Miami shared. “Champagne Papi. You know we gotta call Drake. Iceman. I want Iceman!”
The Florida rapper then joked that Drake needs to “pick up the phone.”
Yung Miami said something similar in an interview with former NFL star and media personality Cam Newton on his podcast Funky Friday earlier this month, calling the 5-time Grammy winner a “supportive” and “special” artist. Along with saying that Drake “comes from a genuine space,” Yung Miami revealed that she previously tried to feature him on the remix to her unreleased song “Take Me to Chanel.” Although the rapper pitched Drizzy in his Instagram DMs, he liked the message without replying.
“I’m like, come on now, don’t do that, Drake. Don’t do that now. Because when you called me, I was there. But nah, I fuck with Drake. I understand,” Yung Miami explained.
“Take Me to Chanel” has yet to drop after amapiano and pop vocalist Tyla allegedly lifted the song’s concept for her 2025 single “Chanel,” which Yung Miami went off about on social media.
