Yonna Jay, the streamer who appears on a skit on Drake's Iceman album, has shared a new dance routine to a song from Drizzy's surprise LP, Maid of Honour.
On Wednesday (June 24), Yonna posted a skit to Instagram, which shows her performing a tap dance routine to "Cheetah Print," which features Sexyy Red. The clip shows Yonna nervously entering an audition in a cheetah print leotard, black tights and neon orange leg warmers before telling the sound man to queue up the track.
After a brief stretch, the streamer begins her routine, which prompts an inquisitive reaction from the audience. Yonna ends the routine with a roar pose before running off stage.
Yonna's voice was sampled at the end of "Plot Twist" from Drake's long-awaited Iceman album which dropped last month. In the last portion of the song, the streamer is heard asking internet personality BenDaDonnn if he's part of the OVO clique after being gifted a chain.
Yonna reacted to the moment she heard the song in a livestream, sharing that she "spoke it into existence." "And then the next day? Y'all the fact that I was on there. Give a round of applause," Yonna said, before adding that she expected to attract hate because of the feature.
"And I already know, guys: there are gonna to be people out there, they're gonna see me happy,” she said. "It's probably gonna be posted on TikTok or wherever it's posted and people are gonna say, 'Oh, well, it was just an outro. Like, the song wasn't even that good. The album was not that good. Like, why the fuck is y'all on the album?’”
