A TikToker and her friend weren't on a "Need to Know" basis for Doja Cat's Tour Ma Vie World Tour.

Following the release of her fifth studio album, Vie, the Grammy winner embarked on the international leg of her tour, but TikTok creator @officialkenyam thought Doja would be performing in the States sooner than expected.

On Saturday (Dec. 6), Kenya posted a TikTok of her and a friend going to Madison Square Garden thinking that Doja would be performing on December 1, 2025. The concert won't be held until December 1 of next year.

"POV: It's Dec 1 in NYC and you've arrived to the Doja Cat concert," read the video's text over Kenya and her friend's surprised expressions. The ladies were wearing their feline best, but appeared to be in shock that there was no one at the venue.

"And to your surprise your the only ones here," the text continued.

The video ended with Kenya zeroing in on the concert's actual date.

"I can’t believe we thought Doja Cat’s Concert was Dec 1st of this year and it’s not until next year," Kenya captioned the post. "All the purchasing, rushing, and organizing to show up and find out our girl was in Australia. This was one helluva ride home 😭😭"

Tour Ma Vie Tour, which began in November in New Zealand, will continue its international leg until mid-June. North American dates begin next October, with Doja's first concert of the leg being held in Detroit, Michigan.

In other tour news, the artist recently clapped back at someone who criticized her for having fewer costume changes compared to her 2023 tour supporting Scarlet. In one tweet, Doja said that she refuses to be a "costume monkey" for so-called fans.

"I move at my own pace and break my fucking back out there every night so you can keep your bullshit opinion to yourself," she tweeted last month. "You are not the artist you are the watcher."
