Soulja Boy has brought Drake into a dispute with his ex-girlfriend, suggesting the 6 God should help out with her rent money request.
Jackilyn Martinez, the mother of Soulja's three-year-old son, KeAndre, took to Instagram this week to post about how the "saxophones got louder" because she was behind on rent.
"When your BD got you blocked and the rent is due so the saxophones got louder," Martinez wrote. The reel showed her looking concerned while purportedly calling Soulja.
When Hollywood Unlocked reposted the reel, Big Draco weighed in with a comment, suggesting that Martinez "better call Drake."
Drake has been a prime topic for Soulja Boy as of late, especially since the release of Drizzy's album trilogy, Iceman, Maid of Honour and Habibti, last month.
Soulja has twice claimed that he was the inspiration for Drake dropping three albums on the same date, although he admitted in an interview with Hip-Hop Wired that the move seemed to be a "coincidence."
In a March episode of Nick Cannon's Big Drive, Soulja explained that his reasons for trolling Drake for years stem from a verse on his 2007 track "What’s Hannenin" being interpolated on Drake’s 2010 single "Miss Me."
"I just think it's funnier 'cause it's like you stole my shit, so now I can just troll you," Soulja told Cannon.
Soulja isn't the only rapper to bring Drake up recently while feuding with their child’s mother. Houston rapper Sauce Walka allegedly threatened to shoot Drizzy in recorded audio while on the phone with Kiley Lossen, the mother of his son.
Lossen would claim that she and Drake were romantically involved in 2024 and in the same year, the rapper bought her a Maybach that Walka allegedly damaged.
While the "Janice STFU" hitmaker hasn’t addressed the controversy, his right-hand man, OVO Chubbs, dismissed Walka’s alleged threats, writing in an Instagram comment that the rapper "ain’t gone do nothing."
