Mariah the Scientist had a question for former Love and Hip Hop star Hazel E after she commented on a post featuring her fiancé Young Thug.
On Saturday (January 3), videographer @shotbymoneymeech posted a reel of the UY SCUTI rapper walking to his vehicle, which caught the attention of Hazel E.
The reality TV personality posted several fire emojis under the reel, prompting a response from Mariah, who Thugger proposed to last month. "Which part is fire," the "Burning Blue" singer asked, to which Hazel, who seemingly didn't mean to offend the vocalist, replied: "The aesthetic."
While the interaction was innocent, it prompted reactions from other commenters, one who joked that Hazel was "thirsty." @shotbymoneymeech would later post a reel of Hazel.
Hazel was previously married to reality television star and model De'Von Waller from 2019 to 2023 and had a brief fling with Blueface last year. The two parted ways in late November after Blueface declared that he would rather date a "young bitch," which led the rapper and internet personality to his new girlfriend, influencer Nevaeh Akira.
Mariah clearly wants her union with Thug to be protected, as the couple have been together since 2021, first collaborating on "Walked In." Just weeks before the rapper proposed during an Atlanta concert, Mariah shared in an interview with Angie Martinez that she hoped to "settle down" soon.
"I just want a commitment that doesn't involve an obligation to a baby," Mariah said at the time. "I just want it to be out of love, not out of responsibility."
