Latto Reconnects With Ex-Waffle House Employee for "Brokey" Video

Yadira Ramirez, who was fired from Waffle House after participating in the "Brokey" challenge, had a surprise cameo in Latto's new music video.

Former Waffle House employee Yadira Ramirez has leveled up after participating in Latto's "Brokey" challenge.

In less than a month, Ramirez posted a now-viral TikTok of herself rapping along to the Latto single with other Waffle House workers, which subsequently got her fired, before linking with the Atlanta rapper in a surprise TikTok. In proving that success is the best revenge, Ramirez is seen in the official "Brokey" video, which debuted on Friday (Oct. 20), and also includes cameos from Rubi Rose, Desi Banks, and Alabama Barker.

Earlier this week, Latto teased the music video with two photos of her with Ramirez while holding a stack of waffles, a subtle jab towards the "Good Food Fast" breakfast chain.

Shortly after her firing, Ramirez expressed her disappointment with the restaurant letting her go after she spent years working there.

"I just got fired because of that video of Big Latto's challenge. Yay, I'm glad I put six years in a company that would fire me and literally a day of posting one video—one video that harms nobody that everybody was actually literally rooting for and happy about," Ramirez said in the clip.

"Then they put me on, it's called like AFR list or something. Basically, I can never get rehired again," she continued.

Although her new single calls out broke men, Latto created the "Brokey" challenge in September, promising $10,000 and a chance to be in the music video to an individual who made the best homemade video to the song.

With Ramirez being crowned the "Brokey" winner, this probably isn't the last we'll see of her.
