The topic of "sharting" was a lengthy debate between Coi Leray and comedian Funny Marco during the new episode of Open Thoughts.
The term, a portmanteau of "shitting" and "farting," refers to when feces are expelled when someone intends to fart. While discussing toiletries like tampons and toilet paper, around the 21:00 mark of the episode below, Marco abruptly asked the "Keep It" rapper about the last time she farted.
Coi revealed that she "probably" passed gas the night before, but insisted that a "fart is not shit."
When pressed by Marco about if she ever sharted, Coi denied having done so but couldn't hold back her laughter.
"I've farted and I've shitted on everything. I have not sharted," Coi said. "I've never farted and shit came out. No. Why? 'Cause you could feel that."
"When you fart before you shart you can feel it," she continued. "Trust me, if you know your body, you know your body. I'm a woman. We know our body. Like, ain't no woman sharting."
Marco unashamedly revealed that he's sharted "four or five times" before, and later accused Coi of smiling about the topic "out of guilt."
"No, I'm smiling because I don't like how you think that I sharted," Coi insisted. "And I'm going to sit here and be like, like "No, I didn't shart." Like, I'm scared that the world knows that I sharted. Like, n***a, first of all, I'm human. Everything that come7 out your butt could come out mine. I personally did not shart because I can prevent me from sharting."
The rapper has been open about her body and health before by documenting the birth of her infant daughter, Miyoco, earlier this year. Coi shares her daughter with her ex-boyfriend, rapper Trippie Red.
