The "Die With a Smile" vocalist said Swift has only been "supportive and kind" towards him.

Bruno Mars showed love to Taylor Swift after a rumor spread that he agreed with a social media post calling her “talentless.”

A fan page for K-pop boy band BTS recently posted a clip of Swift performing during the Eras Tour with a slight towards the fourteen-time Grammy winner. For context, the post was not cosigned by BTS, who embraced Swift while meeting her in 2018.

“Genuinely how did she get famous?” the post read. “White privilege is crazy because imagine if an Asian was as talentless as her.”

A screenshot of the post appeared to show that Mars liked it, although the double tap was likely accidental. The artists have been friendly in passing and although they haven’t yet collaborated, they’re among the most popular musicians of the 21st century.

“Taylor has always been supportive and kind to me,” Mars tweeted on Sunday (March 15). “Only love over here.”

Mars is purely in “love” mode following the release of his fourth studio album, The Romantic, which arrived last month. The LP follows Mars’ 2016 solo album, 24K Magic, which won the Grammy for Album of the Year the following year, and 2021’s An Evening With Silk Sonic, as one-half of Silk Sonic with Anderson .Paak.

On April 10, the sixteen-time Grammy winner will embark on The Romantic Tour, which will see him embark on 78 dates across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
