When Bruno Mars announced The Romantic Tour earlier this month, the rollout followed a familiar pattern: new album news, a slate of major stadium dates, and a clear signal that his first full solo tour in nearly a decade would be a major moment.
What followed exceeded even those expectations.
According to figures shared with Forbes, The Romantic Tour sold 2.1 million tickets in a single day on Thursday, marking the largest one-day ticket sales total across North America, Europe, and the U.K. in Live Nation’s history.
The same day also set a new benchmark on Ticketmaster, which reported its highest-ever 24-hour ticket sales volume. The numbers reflect demand across multiple regions, with fans moving quickly once general on-sales opened.
That momentum didn’t stop with ticket purchases. In response to the surge, Mars expanded the tour schedule once again, adding 32 new shows. The updated itinerary now includes roughly 70 stadium dates spanning North America, Europe, and the U.K., making The Romantic Tour his first full headlining stadium run.
Several cities added multiple nights after early sell-through, transforming what began as a sizable comeback tour into one of the largest global touring efforts of 2026.
The timing aligns with the upcoming release of The Romantic, Mars’s first solo album in nearly ten years, set to arrive next month via Atlantic Records. Interest in the project has been immediate across platforms.
According to additional Forbes' stats, a brief post announcing the album’s completion generated more than 20 million impressions on X within days.
Mars will be joined on the road by familiar collaborators and select openers. Appearing at every stop is Silk Sonic partner Anderson .Paak, performing in his DJ Pee .Wee role.
North American dates are sponsored by MGM Resorts International, with branding tied to the Pinky Ring at Bellagio.
