It seems Ray J was pretending to be one of Diddy's victims when he made the comments.

Ray J is attempting to clear up comments he made about Diddy taking his “ass.”

This week, days after Ray J’s remarks made the rounds online, video shows Blueface pressing the singer, asking if Diddy was "in your booty for real?”

“Nah, they mixed that shit up, bro,” Ray J responded. “I was talking about the homie, Lil Rod, which I apologize to Lil Rod too because I shouldn’t have been talkin’ about his ass, and it backfired on me.”

“I made that shit up,” Ray J added. “But shout-out to the gays.”

Last week, Ray J chatted with The Breakfast Club’s Loren Lorosa, clarifying that he told the story while he was “in character” as one of Diddy’s victims, Lil Rod.

“Everybody's like I'm on a super crash out, right? I always take accountability for everything. And karma's a motherfucker. But I'm in character being Lil Rod. And guess what? I shouldn't have did that either. Shouldn't have been talking about Lil Rod,” Ray J explained. “I don't know what happened with his ass, but I was insensitive about his ass, and then it turned on me.”

“It turned on your ass,” Lorosa replied.

“Yeah. So, I'm looking at it. I'm like, I said the same ass is runny and all that shit on the bus, talking about Lil Rod. I'm in character. I'm telling the homies this is what he said. And then they clipped it right there. But this is not okay. This is not okay,” Ray J said.

He then appeared to reference Diddy: “He's a good guy, and he would never take my ass like that.”

Last week, a video of Ray J pretending to be Lil Rod went viral. In a clip, Ray J can be heard saying, “Diddy took my ass. My shit been runny ever since. … When I try to fart, my shit come out. It’s crazy.”

Ray J has been a vocal supporter of Diddy. When the incarcerated mogul was sentenced to 50 months in federal prison after being found guilty of two charges of transportation to engage in prostitution, Ray J told TMZ that Diddy “should have been cleared of all things.”

As for Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones: the musician and producer made headlines when he filed a $30 million sexual assault and sexual harassment lawsuit against Diddy in February 2024. While a judge later dismissed Lil Rod’s RICO and breach of contract claims against Diddy, other allegations, including sexual assault and premises liability, are moving forward.
