Ahead of the birth of her first child, Latto shared a video showing all the gifts she received from her famous friends at her recent baby shower.
In the video, which can be seen below, Latto previewed music from her upcoming fourth studio album, Big Mama, and showed off a variety of extravagant gifts to help her as she becomes a mother for the first time.
“POV: yo baby got rich aunties & uncles,” she captioned the clip. Gifts included a pram and a hamper from Angel Reese, a huge Gucci haul from Sexyy Red, various toys for her baby from Flo Milli, some jewelry from G Herbo, another pram from Usher and his wife Jennifer Raymond, and more from T.I. and his wife Tiny.
Last month, Latto celebrated the impending arrival of her first child by hosting a baby shower in Atlanta. She hosted the maternity bash at Atlanta’s the Garden Room, with a video showing Angel Reese among those in attendance. She went all-out with the shower by implementing a brown and tan dress code mirroring the artwork of Big Mama, which shows the 27-year-old rapper holding a baby cheetah.
“I ain't go missing. I had to give y'all time to miss me,” Latto said in her announcement for the record. “Before you run the game, you got to take baby steps to go the distance. Home to the studio, studio back home. … Listening to every beat, feeling every kick. Ever since I was a little girl, I always dreamed of having my own. Big Mama, but this time the stake's way bigger. Now it's on me to deliver.”
She hasn’t directly confirmed that 21 Savage, who has three children from previous relationships, is the father of the child, but she confirmed to Paper Magazine that she’s been in a relationship for “years.” Before that, she told TMZ that the What Happened to the Streets? artist is her boyfriend.
Shortly after she announced that she was pregnant, Le’Veon Bell suggested that 21 Savage is married to another woman.
“Latto just announced she’s pregnant by a married man with 3 kids and made it part of her ALBUM ROLL OUT .. and that’s who today’s women look up to? we’re doomed,” Bell tweeted.
