Kimora Lee Simmons has hit back at her ex-husband Russell Simmons after he claimed that he’s provided her and their daughters with years of financial support.
In a post shared on her Instagram Stories, Kimora called out Russell’s response to her claim that she doesn’t have a relationship with the fathers of her children, two of whom she shares with Russell. “My ‘girls’ are GROWN WOMEN!” she wrote. “You know these are lies. Why are you typing from thousands of miles away in a non extradition country? Go negotiate and answer your accusers.”
Last week, Russell Simmons, who currently resides in Bali because he cannot be extradited to the United States, responded to a People interview in which she claimed she doesn’t speak with the fathers of her kids. In response to the interview, Russell denied her allegations.
“I gave u 50,000 a month for 20 years,” he wrote. “I was ur best /only friend. I’m the godfather to your other 3 kids, until one day you stole my stock. I have been fighting for my kids love and bread ever since. You threatened that if I sued you, I would never speak to my kids again. There are two sides to every story.”
Russell accused her of taking stock that belonged to him in a lawsuit in 2021. He also said that she used the stock while he was in Bali to help bail her then-husband out of jail, accusations which she denied.
Kimora shared daughters Ming Lee, 25, and Aoki Lee, with Russell. She also shares 16-year-old son Kenzo with actor Djimon Hounsou, and ten-year-old son Wolfe with former investment banker Tim Leissner. “Usually I would say that I co-parent okay, but the kids are with me full-time,” Kimora explained in the People interview. “I’m pretty much the primary parent. It’s difficult, but I don’t know sometimes what other people are thinking. Guys are weird.”
Russell Simmons has been accused of rape and sexual misconduct by multiple women and men, all of whom he has denied assaulting.
