Funk Flex came out of left field with accusations about Kimora Lee Simmons on Hot 97.
Following the premiere of Simmons' new reality show Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane, Flex went on air Monday morning (December 15) with smoke for the model and fashion entrepreneur.
"She's a bird, continue the story!" Flex said on the radio, in a TikTok posted by @suzyfrmbk. "What's her name? Russell's old wife, right? And DaBaby was beating that! Finish the story!"
Neither Simmons or the "BOP" rapper have addressed Flex's comments, which come two days after Simmons' ex-husband, Russell Simmons, claimed to have financially provided for the Baby Phat founder for two decades.
The Def Jam co-founder, who has been plagued with sexual assault allegations for years, also claimed that Simmons stole his stock and barred him from having a relationship with their daughters, Ming, 25, and Aoki, 23.
"I have been fighting for my kids love and bread ever since," Simmons wrote on Threads. "You threatened that if I sued you, I would never speak to my kids again. There are two sides to every story."
Russell Simmons was responding to a People interview that was conducted with his ex-wife, where she claimed to not have relationships with the fathers of her five children. The reality television star shares a 16-year-old son, Kenzo, with actor Djimon Hounsou, and a 10-year-old son, Wolfe, with ex-husband Tim Leissner. Kimora Lee also has an adopted son, Jaden, 19.
"Usually I would say that I co-parent okay, but the kids are with me full-time," she told the outlet. "I'm pretty much the primary parent. It's difficult, but I don't know sometimes what other people are thinking. Guys are weird."
