Milwaukee rapper Chicken P, whose real name is Rahkeib Smith, has been indicted on multiple counts of rape, abduction, attempted rape, gross sexual imposition, and public indecency, while already serving time behind bars.

As reported by TMZ, the rapper has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman, who is only identified as Jane Done, between March 11 and March 12, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio. He has also been accused of masturbating or engaging in sexual conduct in public.

As shown in the case information available online, the 30-year-old rapper is facing four charges of rape, two charges of attempted rape, two charges of gross sexual imposition, one charge of abduction, and one charge of public indecency. He is already serving time in connection with unrelated cases.

In a statement issued on his Instagram account, Chicken P denied the allegations.

“As many of you know, I am incarcerated right now due to false allegations,” he wrote. “I want to make it clear that I maintain my innocence and I am fully committed to clearing my name through the proper legal process. I have always carried myself with respect toward women and everyone I interact with, both inside and outside of music. Anyone who truly knows me knows what I stand for and the principles I live by.”

He wrote that the situation has proven to be one of the “hardest moments” of his life, but he added that he is committed to proving his innocence. “I ask the public, the media, and everyone watching to allow the facts to come out before making judgments,” he wrote. “I look forward to proving my innocence and getting to my music and my community as soon as possible.”

Chicken P was scheduled to perform at Summerfest 2025 in Milwaukee earlier this year, but he was dropped from the festival because he was behind bars for failing a drug test while on bail for two felony drug-related cases from 2022. Back in March, the rapper pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of a firearm by a felon. He was sentenced to six years in prison in August, with an expected release date of September 2028.
