Yailin La Más Viral has been released from custody following her arrest for alleged illegal firearm possession.

Following a three-day stint in jail, the 23-year-old Dominican artist was released from a Dominican jail on Friday (March 27).

Footage shared by El Gordo y La Flaca showed her leaving the San Luis Penitentiary before reuniting with her 3-year-old daughter, Cattleya, whom she shares with ex Anuel AA.

“I feel fine,” she briefly told reporters from her car, as seen in the video linked above. “I'm going to my house now.”

Correspondent Moises Salce reported that her attorneys said she is allowed to travel outside the Dominican Republic and resume her career, though authorities confirmed the case remains under investigation.

Her release came after authorities granted conditional freedom on $8,400 bail, according to the Associated Press.

On Wednesday (March 25), Yailin was arrested in Santo Domingo following alleged illegal possession of two firearms, per Noticias Telemicro.

At the time, the news station reported that agents from the Central Directorate of Investigation stopped a green Lamborghini carrying Yailin and two other individuals, where police allegedly found two pistols with magazines that were described as illegal.

Prosecutors are investigating the incident as a violation of the country’s laws on the control and regulation of weapons, ammunition, and related materials.

If convicted, Yailin could face a prison sentence of up to 20 years.

During a proceeding, Yailin’s defense insisted the weapons were not hers and argued that prosecutors already knew who was actually their rightful owners.

“It's important to point out that a public figure is being targeted here, even though the prosecutor's office already has a preliminary investigation and knows who is responsible for the act they're trying to pin on her,” Yailin’s attorneys said.

One of the other initially detained individuals allegedly admitted involvement with the weapons, but the defense claimed that testimony had not been fully incorporated into the case at the time.

Yailin La Más Viral, known for hits “Bing Bong” and “Chapa,” previously dated Tekashi 6ix9ine in 2023 before calling it quits in August 2024.
