For some reason, Sexyy Red observed Martin Luther King Jr. Day with the help of artificial intelligence.
On Monday, Jan. 21, the 26-year-old rapper shared a set of photos with the late civil rights leader to her X account that raised some eyebrows online.
In the first AI-generated image, the Hood Hottest Princess rapper is seen with MLK Jr. clasping hands intimately in what appears to be a nightclub.
The second image featured Sexyy photoshopped into a scene where King Jr. and several others appeared for the historic March on Washington for Jobs & Freedom in Aug. 1963.
Both posts had their fair share of laughing and crying emojis under the replies, while others shared their disapproval of the images.
“Yoooo don’t try to disrespect Martin,” wrote one user.
“You are not Coretta Scott King level,” wrote another.
“you’re always fighting for what’s right ✊🏾💕,” wrote a user who generated images of Sexyy during Stonewall Riots of 1969 and a scene reminiscent of Rosa Parks on a Montgomery City Lines bus.
Sexyy, who endorsed former Vice President Kamala Harris during her 2024 presidential campaign, did not appear to respond to President Donald Trump’s inauguration, which also took place on Monday.
