At Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday, Jan. 20, several major political figures and some celebrities showed their support for the incoming president.
Among those in attendance were former Democratic Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, and former Republican President George W. Bush. Trump's son Barron Trump and wife Melania Trump were also in attendance, as were Hillary Clinton, Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Bernie Sanders.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who donated $1 million to Trump's inauguration, attended alongside his wife Priscilla Chan. Other tech CEOs at the inauguration included Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, former Fox Corp executive chairman Rupert Murdoch, and of course, Elon Musk.
Jake Paul, in a post shared on social media, said he attended the inauguration alongside his brother Logan Paul, and MMA fighter Conor McGregor.
As shown in a video circulating on social media, comedian Theo Von was also on the same bus headed to the inauguration and was seen telling McGregor to keep his hands off the YouTuber brothers' mother. During Trump's presidential campaign, Theo Von hosted him on his podcast.
Joe Rogan and Dana White, who have publicly supported Trump, were also seated at the inauguration. TikTok CEO Shou Chew, who could now be a major political ally of the Republican president following his pledge to keep TikTok online, also attended. Carrie Underwood showed up as a scheduled performer, so did Lee Greenwood and Christopher Macchio. On the sports side of things, attendance was rather light but retired NHL player Wayne Gretzky was there.
World leaders also attended, including Argentinian President Javier Milei, China Vice President Han Zheng (Xi Jinping was invited, but did not attend), Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni, and Ecuador President Daniel Noboa.
