Rihanna and the viral “cool girl from India” had themselves a good time during a recent event in India.
The singer linked up Diya Joukani—whose social media fame has led her to being dubbed as the “cool girl from India”—at the launch event for Fenty Beauty in Mumbai on Friday (April 24).
In a video shared online, the singer, 38, and 25-year-old Joukani are seen enjoying refreshments, applying makeup, and otherwise looking like life-long besties.
“RiRi and DiyaDiya in Mumbai babyyyyy,” Joukani captioned the video on her TikTok.
According to NDTV, Joukani is a fashion designer who creates and highlights her custom pieces in her videos shared to more than 532,000 followers on Instagram.
She first gained widespread attention on Instagram through her distinctive "cool girl from India" reels, where she blends high fashion with unpredictable, often playful actions in everyday city environments.
While some viewers initially encounter her as a viral content creator, her primary identity remains rooted in fashion, as she designs the outfits featured in her clips and uses her platform as a modern showcase for her work.
The TV station notes that her videos follow a loose structure that begins with a calm moment and quickly shifts into unexpected scenarios, all while she maintains a composed, almost detached expression.
In addition to expanding her Fenty Beauty line to more markets, Rihanna has a lot to celebrate. According to Forbes, her 2016 album ANTI has officially spent a decade on the Billboard 200 album chart.
