KATSEYE is exploring the frequency of fancy in the high-energy music video for their latest single, “Pinky Up.”
The video was directed by Bardia Zeinali (who has previously collaborated with Kacey Musgraves and Troye Sivan) and produced by Roisín Moloney (who’s worked with Beyoncé and Lady Gaga).
The visuals of “Pinky Up” liven up everyday scenes, like waiting rooms, with stuffed animals, ruffle accents, and a motorcycle. The costumes, lined with lace and fur, highlight the song’s playful pop tinged with punk riffs.
“Us against the world shaking ass in the parking lot,” one lyric goes. “If we get arrested, haha, baby laugh it off.”
“Pinky Up” marks the first release from the group without Manon Bannerman, who took a temporary hiatus from the group to “focus on her health and wellbeing” in late February.
The remaining members—Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, and Yoonchae Jeung—recently performed a number of festivals in South America as a quintet.
Following their Coachella performances on April 10 and April 17, KATSEYE is set to headline the 2026 Head In The Clouds and Hinterland Music festivals and perform at The Governors Ball.
