BTS members J-Hope and V have shared their reaction to being name-dropped on Drake's Iceman.

While the global superstars are currently stateside for their ongoing ARIRANG World Tour, members J-Hope and V found the time to listen to Drizzy’s new albums.

In a post shared to their Instagram Stories on Friday (May 15), both J-Hope and V shared a candid video of themselves listening to Drake’s “Make Them Cry.”

On the track, Drake raps, “I'm feeling like BTS 'cause it took the whole career for me to be so discovered.”

Upon hearing their name, both men appear shocked as the footage abruptly ended.

It’s worth noting that although Drake and BTS have never formally collaborated, they do have some history behind them.

In 2018, Drake included an excerpt of J-Hope’s wildly viral Shiggy challenge video in his music video for “In My Feelings.”

The group finally met Drake at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards and took a photo together backstage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

In 2021, BTS leader and rapper RM (born Kim Nam-joon) credited Drake with his own evolution as an artist, saying that Drake inspired him to sing.

“I started with Nas, Eminem, the golden age of hip-hop,” he told Rolling Stone at the time. “And the turning point was Drake, in 2009, when he released So Far Gone. That album was kind of shocking for me because it was kind of a freaky thing that a rapper actually sang. So after that a lot of rappers began to sing, deciding to put the melodies into their songs across the genres, between raps and melody.”

Drake shocked fans on Thursday night at the end of his Iceman Episode 4 livestream when he announced that three albums, Iceman, Maid of Honour, and Habibti would be released simultaneously on Friday (May 15) at midnight.
