Freekey Zekey stirred the pot of Dipset drama by dropping an old video that seemingly shows Jim Jones confronting Dame Dash with an entourage.
On Saturday (Jan. 10), Freekey shared footage on Instagram showing Jones trying to press Dame with a group of men, while Dash insists on a fair one-on-one.
“The time you tried to pull up on Dame and he wasn’t having it. You tried to get the HOMIES to jump dame, they told you ‘nah shoot the fair one 🤦🏾♂️ #JOMOSEXUAL,” he captioned the video, while encouraging his followers to watch a longer version of the clip on YouTube.
While it’s unclear when exactly the confrontation took place, it’s also worth noting that Freekey is Cam'ron's cousin and is very much taking Cam's side by putting this clip into circulation.
Later that day, Cam'ron became aware of the post and reacted in the comments with a pair of eye emojis. In a separate comment that tagged Dash’s IG account, he wrote, "@duskopoppington I know I’m ‘fredo’ lol but u looked good out there this day [three flexed robotic arm emojis]."
Given the history and the sarcasm that occasionally informs his public comments, it’s worth mentioning that Cam’s "looked good out there" line is likely ironic rather than a sincere olive branch.
The backdrop to Freekey’s post starts a few days earlier on Jan. 7, when Jim Jones publicly took shots at Cam'ron and his circle amid their latest and ongoing fallout.
"U soft," Jones wrote in one comment before doubling down with, "U whole crew is soft." He then added, "U wanna play pull up let the people see how soft u are chump. Freakey u soft too."
