Cardi B showed love to her hometown fans during the first of her two New York City shows on the Little Miss Drama Tour.

The rapper took the stage Wednesday night (March 25) for the first of two headlining shows at Madison Square Garden, delivering a high-energy set packed with crowd interaction. During her performance, she shouted out New York City and urged her hometown fans to take a celebratory shot to get them pumped up.

“I perform better when the crowd is loud. I feed off your energy,” she said to a roaring crowd. “Take a shot, bitch, when I count to three. And Imma stretch this pussy out. Im about to give you a fucking show.”

At one point, Cardi urged fans to “text that n***a right now” before she began to perform “Principal.”

In addition to giving her hometown fans plenty of moments showcasing her comedic and charismatic onstage presence, the Bronx star brought out fellow NYC artist Cash Cobain, who performed their collaborative track “Better Than You.”

Cardi fans were especially stunned when the Bronx rapper brought out Lil Kim toward the end of the night.

Aside from the legendary Kim gracing the NYC stage, Cardi had her infamous Pretty and Petty challenge and also had fans competing for $5,000 in a dance contest with the “most ratchet” wining the cash prize.

Earlier this week, Cardi B jokingly recalled stealing from a Marshalls store in her neighborhood before she became famous. “I used to steal at the Marshalls across the street,” she joked, as recorded by Complex. “Oh my god. Yes. Yes, yes, yes, I’m back in my home.”
