Cardi B joked about her past while greeting fans in the Bronx.

During her pop-up event for her Grow-Good haircare line in the Bronx on Tuesday (March 24), the rapper spoke to a crowd to thank them for coming out but not without mentioning one hilarious detail.

“I used to steal at the Marshalls across the street,” she joked, as recorded by Complex. “Oh my god. Yes. Yes, yes, yes, I’m back in my home.”

The one-day bodega-style Grow-Good pop-up was held outside the Hip Hop Museum, where the Am I the Drama? graced the event in the early afternoon during a break in her Little Miss Drama Tour.

Bardi Gang members who were in attendance got their hands on Grow-Goo shampoo, conditioner, serum, a hydrating mask and other goodies, which are currently sold out online.

In a cover story for Allure that was published this week, the Grammy winner detailed that what’s most important in the success of Grow-Good is that customers are “coming back.”

“A bad song is not gonna fuck up your life,” Cardi told the publication. “Imagine you put some shit into your hair, and you damage it, and I’m responsible?!”

Earlier this month, Cardi called out “hating ass bitches” for counting on the downfall of Grow-Good, which, fortunately, hasn’t worked.

“One thing I do know, bitch, is fucking hair. That's why I'm doing a hair line, bitch,” she said on Instagram Live. “You could put my name in anything, but I'm putting my name on shit that I know and I like.”
