Cardi B lit up her first headlining Madison Square Garden concert with surprise guests and hometown energy on opening night.
On Wednesday (March 24) during the first of two sold-out New York City concerts for her Little Miss Drama Tour, Cardi upped the ante by bringing out special guests Lil' Kim and Cash Cobain.
“I don't really got sexy songs, I got gangsta songs," she teased the audience. "So Cash Cobain come sing me a sexy song for me baby."
Cobain, a Bronx native, performed “Fisherrr” and “Hoes Be Mad” while Cardi danced alongside him.
Later that night, Cardi welcomed Lil' Kim to the stage, where the Brooklyn legend performed her verse from Mobb Deep’s "Quiet Storm (Remix)."
“I don't want y'all to think I'm being dramatic coming out here in this beautiful outfit on," Kim told the crowd. “But Cardi did dress me tonight."
Cardi’s two oldest children, seven-year-old Kulture and four-year-old Wave, briefly appeared towards the end of the show to wave to the crowd.
Ciara was also present at the concert and was later seen backstage congratulating Cardi on her performance and snapping photos with Lil’ Kim.
Cardi is set to return to Madison Square Garden for a second sold-out show on Thursday (March 26). From there, her Little Miss Drama Tour will visit major cities like Newark, Toronto, Boston, Baltimore, and more before wrapping up with a two-night stint at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on April 17 and 18.
