Ryan Garcia has publicly walked back his past support of former President Donald Trump over the president’s alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein,

"This is my public declaration and announcement, I'm reclining my past support for Donald Trump," Garcia tweeted.

He continued by referencing people connected to "that island," a not-so-subtle nod to Jeffrey Epstein's private island located in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

"Anyone that was involved in anything to do with that island and what they were doing, I just can't support in anyway," he added. "Children need to be protected, everyone knew better fuck that. Justice for all."

Garcia, one of boxing's biggest stars and most outspoken personalities, has never shied away from sharing his political views or personal beliefs online. In the past, he had openly supported Trump, so this marks a clear shift in his stance.

While Garcia didn’t call out Trump for a specific act, his name has been associated with Epstein for some time. According to the New York Times, over 5300 of the Epstein files referenced Trump in some way. Elon Musk, Bill Gates, and Steve Tisch are just some of the other ultra-powerful people who appeared in the files.
