420 has officially become its own holiday weekend. Wiz Khalifa and 2 Chainz hit Red Rocks on April 19. Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg take the same venue on April 20, with Too Short on the bill. And somewhere out there, more than 60 handcrafted Mothership Glass eggs are hidden across the globe waiting to be found.
That last one comes courtesy of a Weedmaps link-up with Mothership Glass, the functional glass studio that says its annual egg hunt is “back and bigger than ever” this year. Five custom Elite Eggs are also hidden at dispensaries across the U.S., each one tied to a prize.
For those hoping to get in on the action, here’s how it works: Clues go up on Mothership Glass’s Instagram, hunters track down the matching deal on Weedmaps, claim it, and race to the dispensary. First person to show the confirmation email wins.
“This is a global event!” Mothership Glass wrote on Instagram. “Eggs have been sent as far as South Africa this year… so keep your eyes open. There might be one near you!” Comments flooded in almost immediately.
"Chasing this like the One Piece!!! 🔥🔥🔥," one person wrote.
"Literally would be a dream come true to find one after all these years," another said.
"I would sell my soul for one of these, I'm an egg man 🥚," chimed in a third.
For those unfamiliar, Mothership Glass is one of the most respected names in functional glass art. Founded by Scott Deppe in 2013, the Pacific Northwest collective built its reputation on the Fab Egg, a design that sells for thousands and has even crossed into six-figure territory — a version sold for more than $100,000 at a Seattle auction, according to Cannabis Now.
The egg hunt is just one piece of a stacked 420 from Weedmaps. The platform is also giving away $4,200 daily through April 20, with a grand prize trip for four to Spannabis 2027 in Bilbao, Spain.
On the food side, Weedmaps and Ike's Love & Sandwiches are back for their third consecutive 420 sandwich — this year's Dream Rotation features fried chicken, Flamin' Hot Cheetos, cream cheese, and honey on Dutch Crunch bread, available at all Ike's locations through May 29.
There's also a new 420 apparel collection and a multi-state dispensary roadshow hitting California, Arizona, Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, and New York.
The sweepstakes runs through April 20. The eggs are still out there.
