Halle Bailey on ‘You, Me & Tuscany,’ Hate From ‘The Little Mermaid,’ and Upcoming Music With Chlöe

Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page are about to make you fall in love again with ‘You, Me & Tuscany.’ Halle sat down with Complex News’ Mami Tiff to talk about her experience filming her rom-com in Italy. Halle discusses what she learned and appreciated about Italian culture and the moments she had on set with Regé while shooting this film. Beyond the film, Halle also reflected on her time being cast as Princess Ariel for Disney’s live-action of ‘The Little Mermaid,’ and opened up about how she got through the hate and racism she experienced during the time. As a mother, Halle also gave advice to those who want to support their loved ones going through postpartum. The two also talked about Halle dressing up as Halle Berry’s Jinx from ‘Die Another Day’ for Halloween, and Brandy naming Halle to star as her in a potential biopic. Halle also gives us a snippet of what is to come music-wise with her sister Chlöe and reveals all her favorite rom-coms.
