Nicolas Cage on 'Spider-Noir,' His Most Iconic Memes, and Turning Down the Green Goblin
Nicolas Cage has been ruling our screens since the 80s, and now, for the first time, we will see him in the upcoming Prime Video series ‘Spider-Noir.’
Nicolas Cage chops it up with Complex News’ Mami Tiff to talk about all things film noir, as he stars as Ben Reilly, a 1930s investigator, in this latest project.
Beyond the series, Nic Cage talks about film noirs in general and reveals what film noirs Gen Z should check out, and what he hopes the younger generation will take away from watching the ‘Spider-Noir’ series in black and white.
Mami Tiff also asks Nic Cage why he turned down the opportunity to play the Green Goblin in Sam Raimi’s 2006 ‘Spider-Man.’ The two then play a fun game where they go over Nic’s most iconic memes from films like ‘Vampire's Kiss,’ ‘Con Air,’ ‘The Wicker Man,’ and ‘Face/Off.’
Nic also opens up about his unique Airport style and why he loves a leather jacket.
