Kim Kardashian, Dua Lipa, Nicole Kidman, and More Walk Balenciaga’s Fall 2022 Couture Runway Show

The luxury house's 51st couture collection, which marks Demna's second couture entry as creative director, was unveiled with a presentation in Paris.

Kim Kardashian, Dua Lipa, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Campbell, Christine Quinn, and Bella Hadid were among the familiar faces seen walking in Balenciaga’s presentation of the luxury house’s 51st couture collection in Paris.

The presentation—soundtracked by BFRND and Gustave Rudman’s “Love in E Minor,” performed by the Budapest Scoring Orchestra—began with eight looks comprised of high-quality Japanese neoprene. Featured prominently in the show, meanwhile, was Balenciaga’s Bang & Olufsen speaker bag in leather-lined milled aluminum.

For many of the looks included in the show, which marks Demna’s second couture collection for Balenciaga, models wore a coated polyurethane face shield engineered by the team at Mercedes-AMG F1 Applied Science.

Among those in attendance for the house’s latest presentation were Offset and Playboi Carti, whose ensuing hang at the show was met with immediate social media attention.

Tracee Ellis Ross, Kris Jenner, North West, and others were also on hand for the couture unveiling.
