We already let you in on Jung Kook’s limited-edition capsule collection in partnership with Calvin Klein, featuring reimagined takes on a number of essentials. Now, we’re giving you an even closer look at select pieces in action thanks to the reveal of official campaign images shot by Alasdair McLellan.
As the BTS member detailed in a statement shared with Complex, the capsule, which marks his first-ever fashion collaboration, gave him an opportunity to “fully immerse” himself in the creative process.
“This capsule feels authentic to my style and my love of riding and is a meaningful way to shape something lasting through design and storytelling,” he said.
David Savman, Calvin Klein’s Global Brand President, sees the pairing as bringing together “two cultural forces” operating at “full power,” underscoring Jung Kook’s assessment of the collaboration as “more personal” in nature.
“Through Jung Kook's lens, we’re able to express a more personal side of the partnership, inspired by his individuality and passion for motorcycles, all interpreted through the Calvin Klein aesthetic,” Savman said. “Together, we are reimagining our icons for today in a way that feels authentic, culturally resonant and globally compelling.”
The Jung Kook for Calvin Klein collection will be available here starting May 19 at 6:00 p.m. ET, as well as in select stores from May 20. Prices for the pieces, seen being modeled by Jung Kook and more in official campaign images below, top out at $699.
