Now that Valentine’s Day festivities are wrapped up, it’s time to love yourself again. Whether you’re looking to shop for yourself this week or still looking for another gift for your significant other, they’re plenty of great drops to shop from right now. Supreme returns with the release of new box logo hoodies for its first drop from its Spring/Summer 2022 collection. Rick Owens is once again collaborating with Champion on a range of fashionable essentials. Across the Atlantic, Palace is set to release its third drop this season, which includes another great run of Gore-Tex jackets. Of course, the most anticipated drop this week is The North Face’s collaboration with Kaws, which is set to drop this Thursday.

The North Face x Kaws

The North Face will release its highly anticipated collaboration with Kaws on Friday. The collection marks the brand’s very first line of products to ever be designed alongside the revered graffiti artist. The collection has Kaws reinterpret some of the most iconic silhouettes from The North Face. This includes the artist’s take on icons like the Nuptse puffer and The North Face’s 1986 Mountain Jacket. The collaboration is rife with bold colors, patterns, and iconic “XX” motifs that Kaws is globally recognized for. Basecamp Duffle Bags, Mountain Light Pants, and Nuptse Puffer Pants are other icons featured within the collection. The collaboration will also celebrate newer styles from The North Face such as an Freeride jacket and fleece that are perfect to wear for winter sports. Gucci’s latest decorative motif consists of pineapples and roses. The pattern define one of its most colorful men’s ready-to-wear and accessories collections this season. Following their first two capsule collections from 2019 and 2021, Champion and Rick Owens have joined forces yet again. The collection features unisex pieces made from “Bio Cottons” and “Bio Nylons.” Key pieces within the collection include sweatshirts, sweatpants, and T-shirts. Mesh shorts and lightweight outerwear pieces are also available. All the pieces feature the collaboration’s unique Champion logo. Swimwear, socks, athletic-inspired caps, headbands, and a new balaclava are also available. The collection is rounded out by backpacks, tote bags, and pocket purses.

Supreme returns this season with a hefty drop to kick off Spring/Summer 2022. The very first Supreme drop of the year will include the return of beloved “Bling” box logo hoodies with rainbow lettering, striped rugby tops with racing patches, jacquard denim puffer jackets with a “Fat Tip” graffiti marker monogram from the brand’s archive, hoodies, and graphic T-shirts. A standout T-shirt from the brand’s upcoming drop features the work of Andre Charles, a New York graffiti artist who was well known for painting a graffiti character dubbed “The Famous Baby” around the Lower East Side.

Arc’teryx Equipment has just dropped its newest pieces from their SS22 Veilance line. Once again, Veilance offers high-end technical apparel that fits inside a modern wardrobe. Rob Cristofaro, the founder of the pioneering New York City streetwear brand Alife, has been well known for breaking artists such as Kunle Martins, Jim Joe, Dash Snow, Todd James, and many more over the years. His latest venture, RAB Arts, is a catalyst for cultural production that is particularly focused on downtown New York. Bark at The Moon is a new photography book that is also RAB Arts first major release. The book is filled with photographs by Blake Kunin, a New York photographer who gives intimate access into the underworld of graffiti vandalism. Action shots of writers such as ADEK, BK, CH, EASY, GOOG, GUSE, HOUND, LEWY, MALVO, MERCH, MQ, and more are prominently featured throughout the 285-page book. “Blake Kunin’s photos scare the living daylights out of me. My love of chaos and anarchy on the streets has been ongoing for decades,” said the revered artist Barry McGee aka Twist, in a press release. “These photographs let me study, in comfort, the bold lines & gestures that still resonate with me to this very day with more urgency than ever.” While street graffiti fans will surely enjoy this book, it will give outsiders a in depth look into graffiti’s secretive culture. Come Tees, a Los Angeles-based streetwear brand run by artist Sonya Sombreuil launched in 2010, is well known for being one of the first brands to establish the trippy, hand-drawn, DIY streetwear aesthetic. Now, Come Tees has a large collaboration with Converse that includes Converse Shapes apparel and a Chuck 70 sneaker featuring digitized works of Sombreuil’s handmade art. Two all-over prints from Come Tees are applied on Converse Shapes T-shirts, hoodies, and shorts. A Chuck 70 sneaker features tri-panel graphic blocking with each panel housing a unique design.

Midnight Studios is set to drop their Spring/Summer 2022 collection titled “Welcome to the Machine.” Shane Gonzales’ reborn collection for the brand establishes key themes and silhouettes that will become staples in upcoming seasons.
